Gilliam Team's Process

Sage Financial Systems has spent years refining our client process to ensure that we are giving them personalized guidance and care. During our comprehensive process, each client goes through a set of three initial meetings to determine their values and goals, to begin to take action toward achieving those goals.

Once the comprehensive plan has been established, we meet three times a year to learn more about their personal lives, review the progress of their plan, and make any necessary updates as their goals and values change. These meetings help maintain the accountability between us and our clients, so they can have the confidence that their financial house is in order.

Gilliam Team Process

The Gilliam Team will provide you with a financial plan that works for your needs. With just a few hours of your time each year, you will feel confident that you are planning for your goals based on the values that are most important to you.

Foundational Meetings – In just two hours of your time, we will establish where you are with your finances now and where you want to be in the future.

  1. The Values Interview: Spend an hour with our Advisor David Gilliam, CRPC, talking about your goals and values to develop the foundation for your future. David will ask you a series of questions to help you gain clarity on where you are now and develop the specific goals you want to accomplish. At the end of this interview, you will be given a list of documents to provide to our team so that we have the information necessary to develop your financial plan based on your goals and values. These documents are crucial for our team to receive at least 5 days prior to the next meeting.
  2. The Action Meeting: At this meeting you will receive the details of your plan so that you can begin to act. We will review our recommendations with you and discuss what actions need to be taken to implement your plan. You will learn how we can help you manage your financial situation safely, effectively, and with your goals in mind.

Annual Meetings – You will meet with our advisor at least once per year to review your plan and implement any changes based on your life’s circumstances.

    – Review and Update your Financial Plan.

    – Review your Action Plan.
  2. Safety and Legacy Meeting: We believe a comprehensive financial plan should include a safety and legacy review. At this meeting, we will review your individual situation and make recommendations to keep your family safe.
